To empahasize Sophies uneasiness and diffidence I used high viewpoint. Dark shapes around her — the hats — are used to create pressure. Also they remind me of pecking crows. Colour palette is dull, a bit lifeless, only Sophie's bright hair and her green threar (her magic) enliven the picture
